Becky went to work for the telephone company after high school. She started out as a long distance operator, working her way up to climbing telephone poles for a living. She retired on her 50th birthday and went back to school and became a nurse. Two years ago she went to Liberia, West Africa on a medical mission trip with her church. Over the last ten years, the church had built a school, installed water wells and finally built a clinic. The team of nine people spent fourteen days in the jungle and saw over 900 people in the clinic, most of whom had never seen a doctor, or a white person. The kids would touch our skin to see if it would rub off.
Becky has been married to Don for thirty years. They have a daughter, son-in-law and five grandchildren.
Becky is also an elected PC.
